Clinical Management of Chronic Pain
1-5 November 2010
To be held at the Pain Relief Foundation (Clinical
Sciences Centre) and the Pain Clinic (Walton Centre
for Neurology &
Neurosurgery).
This is an advanced practical
course in clinical pain management, designed for
those who have already had some training and/or
attended other pain courses. However it is not
intended for experienced pain clinicians. Teaching
will include patient contact and observation.
Attendance is limited to 30 participants.
There will be clinics, theatre and Pain Management
Programme sessions, a Grand Round and symposia
on:- Demonstration Clinics, Practical Pain Imaging,
Case Presentations, Managing Common Pain Problems,
The Pain
Clinicians Role in Palliative Care, Implants
for Chronic Pain, Demonstration Theatres,
Practical Pharmacology, PMPs: How to Assess
and Treat Patients, Setting Up and Running
a Pain Clinic and PMP .
REGISTRATION:
REGISTRATION FEE (including lunches and course
dinner): £ 750.00

PARKING:
Parking space at the Clinical Sciences Centre, on the
Aintree site, is very congested. Parking is prohibitied
in the Walton Centre car park.
PAYMENTS & CANCELLATIONS:
The transaction will be shown on your credit card statement
as "The Pain Relief Foundation". Refund of
registration fees will be made ONLY if notice of
cancellation is made BEFORE OCTOBER 1st 2010, less
an administrative charge of 10%.
A deposit of £200 will secure a place provided
that the balance is paid in full as cleared funds by
October 1st 2010. We cannot guarantee the place after
this and deposits will not be refunded unless
we receive formal notice of cancellation before October
1st 2010, less an administration fee of 10%.

MEDICAL EDUCATION

A certificate of attendance for
CEPD points will be issued at the
close of the meeting. |
