“The ‘Unravelling Pain’ Team is a group of pain specialists who are passionate about improving understanding of pain with the aim of changing the way people think about, talk about, and respond to persistent pain.

This event builds on our successful event last year, where we explored an up-to-date understanding of persistent pain from research and experience of working in the largest and longest running pain management programme in the UK.

“Part 2: Management of Persistent Pain” will explore some of the strategies taught at the Walton Centre Pain Management Programme to help people develop tools for pain management. You don’t have to have attended our previous event to attend!

During the evening there will be presentations from experts in pain management including pain consultants, physiotherapists, psychologists, occupational therapists, and people who experience persistent pain.

For those attending face to face, there will be opportunity to speak to our experts, meet other people affected by persistent pain, and visit stands with information and resources such as the Brain Charity and Pain Relief Foundation
