Discovering new genetic mechanisms involved in chronic pain associated with ageing
A short research progress presentation by PhD student Emma Price based at the University of Liverpool, supported by the Pain Relief Foundation (PRF)
Emma was approached by the PRF to give a short presentation of her work conducted at University of Liverpool under the supervision of Professor John Quinn and Dr Vivien Bubb, to our Trustees at our Trustee meeting held in September, although initially she was a little daunted at the the thought she very kindly agreed. Emma was put under pressure to give the presentation with in 10 minutes which would make even the most experienced person nervous, not Emma she delivered a fantastic presentation, well thought out that captivated her audience of laypersons, clinicians and researchers. Her presentation can be seen below
