Practical Pain Management for Therapists
The first of our series of Practical Pain Management for Therapists study days ,what a great success.
Led by the dynamic duo of:-
Alison Bradshaw – Specialist Occupational Therapist in Pain Management.
Graham Derbyshire – Specialist Physiotherapist in Pain Management.
Included in organisation John Tetlow – Lead Occupational Therapist in Pain Management
Alison & Graham delivered an excellent workshop covering the following topic; –
Explain Pain, Understanding pain mechanisms in the real world, and helping patients to understand pain mechanisms / ways of explaining pain to patients.
Presented to a full audience, so slick was their presentation they could give some TV presenters a run for their money. Such was the demand for these sessions a waiting list has been created for the two sessions to be held in October & November.
The team are currently in talks to hopefully run the sessions again early next year so keep checking our website.
