The Pain relief Foundation is a UK charity which funds research into the causes and treatment of human chronic pain and is concerned with education of health professionals about pain management.

We are currently looking to recruit part time experienced Fundraiser with excellent communication and people skills to join The Pain Relief Foundation Fundraising Team based in Liverpool

THE JOB:

  • Develop new and imaginative fundraising activities
  • Engaging with new and existing donors to maximise income generation
  • Project-manage fundraising events: research venues; work with other key team members; identify entertainment companies; manage relationships with attendees
  • Work with PR and communications, spreading the word about hosted campaigns
  • Source raffle prizes and in-kind donations from supporters
  • Recruit and promote supporters and volunteers
  • Cultivate new volunteers to support the work of the Pain Research Institute
  • Attend networking events to promote the charity and its work.
  • Attend external events as a representative for Pain Relief Foundation, oversee information stalls, and engage members of the
    public to learn more about our work

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:

We welcome applicants with the following skills, experience and attributes:

  • A minimum of one year’s experience of organising and promoting income-generating events
  • Confident and personable with excellent networking skills
  • Demonstrable experience in Fundraising or relevant Charity Volunteering
  • Passionate about the work of The Pain Relief Foundation
  • Organised and well-presented with good time-management skills
  • Confident speaker and able to converse with a variety of audiences
  • Salary is £10k per annum
  • Hours 16 per week
