Lela Rowe – Fundraising Story

After years of suffering with neuroplastic pain the thought of skydiving to Lela was really quite terrifying, she was afraid the pressure would give her a migraine. She was afraid she would land and the impact will make her back and head feel like it’s being ripped apart. But you know what, she did it anyway on 17th April, her 30th Birthday, not allowing fear to rule her life, she is in charge”. This is my symbolic act of breaking the pain fear cycle, something which takes a great deal of time and hard work, but what better way to tell her brain I’m serious than to throw herself from a plane feeling the fear in it’s entirety and believing in herself and her ability to fly.

Congratulations on your achievement and raising £255!
