Katie’s Twin Peak Challenge
THANK YOU KATIE FROM ALL AT THE PAIN RELIEF FOUNDATION
Katie Elder from Basildon, Essex recently completed the Twin Peak challenge of trekking to the summits of Ben Nevis and Scafell Pike in the Lake District (the highest peaks in Scotland and England) to fund raise for the Pain Relief Foundation. Katie has to manage M.E. so knows how difficult it can be to explain a misunderstood condition such as Chronic Pain.
So far Katie has managed to raise £640 for the Pain Relief Foundation through her Just Giving page and is looking for other ways to raise funding for the cause close to her heart.

Hello to you all.
I am Katie’s Dad re: the above article. I am very proud of her and she still helps people with Chronic Pain and also is a qualified BSL Practitioner too. When Katie did the challenge she had some wristbands (red) for CRPS. She gave me two but finally my last one has now snapped. I have been looking on the site to see if I can buy replacements but cannot see information for this.
Could you please forward information.
Unfortunately my own pain is now so widespread but want to help others to contribute as well. Katie is now also a Mother as well as Teacher. Her fatigue is more prominent now but we soldier on together. Thank you, Michael Elder
